Eddie and Michelle Hetherington  > Travel > Hawaii - The Big Island
Michelle and I went to the Big Island of Hawaii in May. We spent half the trip on the Kona side of the Island and the other half on the Hilo side.

Eddie and Michelle Hetherington > The water in front of the line of palm trees is an ancient Hawaiian fish pond.  These ponds had outlets to the ocean that were big enough for small fish to come in.  When the fish grew, they couldn't get back out and then the Hawaiians would eat them.  Now they ponds have some big barracuda and bonefish in them.
